House Zarja is located on top of a hill, surrounded by nature, peace, and silence.

For complete relaxation, a sauna, a hot tub and an outdoor pool are available within the house. We have thought about your needs regarding:

  • Work - two workstations equipped with a lift table, an ergonomic chair and a monitor and high speed optic fiber internet
  • Fun - game room with table football, air hockey, darts and arcade games. Also, there are many card and board games available for your entertainment
  • Chilling - large covered terrace with barbecue and sitting area
  • Spa - sauna, hot tub, and outdoor pool
  • Living - completely renovated three bedrooms, three bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and large living and dining area.

Bizeljsko is an area of beautiful natural beauty, numerous hiking and biking trails. You are surrounded by vineyards and cellars where you can taste and buy wine from local producers and other specialties. There are more than 100 places worth visiting within less than an hour by car.

Hike and walk (all in 10 km range)

In and around Bizeljsko there are many hiking trails. Which are really well marked and go through the vineyards and to historical monuments.

While hiking you can visit monuments such as "Bizeljsko castle", "Pišece castle", "Ruins of Kunšperk castle", "Ruins of Cesargrad" in Croatia, "Svete gore (Holly Hills)"... Alongside many wine cellars and "repnice".

You can visit all the localities from the previous section and consider visiting the Podsreda castle and the town of Podsreda, the "Veliki Tabor" castle and learn more about Veronika and her tragic fate, the "Old Village Museum" in Kumrovec...

P.S.: we advise you either to go to "Harmica train station" (15 min drive by car) and then go by train to "Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor" (Zagreb main railway station) which is located in the city center. You can find the train timetable on this link. Or go by car and park at"Paromlinska parking" (daily ticket costs around 1.5€) and you are 100 m away from main railway station.

We are a couple that likes to enjoy, work, have fun and rest. And we combine all that on our trips! We are sure that we are not the only ones, that's why we decided to offer our guests the opportunity to experience all this in our holiday house Zarja. When traveling, we like to try local cuisine, good wines and craft beers. While we are at home, we humbly serve our pets: 2 dogs, 3 cats and countless plants.
